Better than Google

Think Google is overkill just to check the spelling of a word? But you still want to spell-check directly from your browser's URL bar? This page is the ultimate minimalist way to spell-check a single word (or a whole document) without the unneeded distractions and privacy issues of using Google or another search engine. The spelling checks are done 100% client side (entirely within your browser) for 100% privacy and nothing is ever sent to a server. Right-click on any word to see the spelling choices from your browser's built-in spell checker and select the correct spelling. An added and unique benefit is the change log. Any change to a single word is added to the change log visible on this page, which you can also copy and share.

Privacy

Your privacy is our top priority. All spell-checking, text editing, and processing remains entirely within your web browser, including storage of your correction history log (change log). No data is ever sent to a server. This ensures that your information remains 100% private. Because hash values are not transmitted to servers, this page even uses a hash parameter intead of a query parameter for submitting data to the algorithm on this page via an "action url".
